You could dual boot with Windows Vista/Windows XP or uninstall Vista and use Ubuntu permanently!

Chol, I don't know how to change the order of boot options in GRUB. I don't know about search setup in Ubuntu, either, but you can ask these questions in the Linux forum. Also, try Ubuntu Support.

ScottW,

Windows Vista is already a default, I have removed (unmark) "time to display list of operating system".

I can go straight to logon windows now if I chose Windows Vista, which is number 6.

Ubuntu come as number 1, I don't know where to arrange them so that "Windows Vista Come number 1, and Ubuntu number 2. I am still don't know yet "how make search setup in Ubuntu"?

Any ideas...

Thanks

Oh, I think I see what is going on. The Linux boot manager, which is called GRUB, has found your ACER recovery partition (option 5). It thinks that this partition might contain Windows NT or 2000 or XP, but it can't tell. If you should ever need to access the ACER recovery partition, do it in the usual way and do not use the GRUB menu to select that option.

It would also appear that when you choose option 6 for Vista, you are then presented with Vista's boot manager which is giving you the choice or Vista or Ubuntu. Just select Vista again and it should boot. Once booted into Vista, you can set it to be the default OS with no timeout. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced Settings -> Startup and Recovery (Settings button). Make sure Vista is the default OS and remove the check mark by "Time to display list of operating systems". Click OK, and OK again. After changing these settings, Vista should boot without displaying the boot manager screen when you choose option 6 from the GRUB menu.

Too much report,..I know you were goign to confuse...

Windows NT/2000/XP are shown together and are open by 0000 as password, but takes me to factory default setting and the screen that appear is ACER screen. When I tried to continue with reset I got these as warning:
+ When reinstalling, all data in C: drive will overwritten
+ Recovery will require power supply,..you know..etc
+ Remove external disk drive.

It seem, this gonna reinstall my windows Vista OS...this is were I confussed, but I want to continue with reset to factory default, if, it's not going to interfere with my windows vista.

Oh, I'm confussed, alright. Windows XP and 2000 have an account called "Administrator" with no password by default. I haven't used NT in a long time, and can't remember if it was the same.

I have completed installation by choosing side by side...Forgot something written there instead of manual or use the entire disk. They were three options like that. My second hard drive is D letter in computer, I could have use if there was a way, but I can't see that option. In C hard disk drive, not much space is occupied by ubuntu, only this: 711 MB (746,188,800 bytes) on disk. Windows NT/2000/XP I can get it when I restart or turn on my computer...It get there to choose the partition to use. They are as follow:

1.	Ubuntu 9.04 kernel 2-6.28-11-generic
2.	Ubuntu 9.04 (recovery mode)
3.	Ubuntu 9.04, memtest 86+
4.	Other operating system
5.	MS Windows NT/2000/XP,...when I press enter for this option, it take me setup option...asking me to reset it to factory default and it ask me password, which I don't know,But God great it was hint, I click hint and the password was: 0000 four zeroes. My question dis time is: What is the default password that comes with windows NT/2000/XP? If it’s 0000, I may continue...I just want to know much about this because I thought it will take me wrong way to reset my windows vista. I will try to reset it to factory default and get in after I get full info from you guys.
6.	Windows Vista (loader)...when I press enter for Vista, I get the option again for Windows Vista and Ubuntu.

Thanks
Chol

I see that you are at step 8 in the guide. When you say you want to use the "D:" drive instead of the "C:" drive, are you talking about a second hard drive that is installed in your system? What is on the second hard drive? Also, Ubuntu doesn't use volume letters such as "C:" and "D:", so you need to be sure of which drive you will be installing to. What are the options?

Where do you see Windows 2000 and NT? At what step in the guide?
