What is the NAME of the file you deleted?

Many virus programs are recreated by either a startup or registry entry once rebooted. Have you run any A/V or Malware program to see if you are infected?

If it really bothers you, type INDEXING OPTIONS into the start/search, hit Enter , go to ADVANCED and then to REBUILD. That will rebuild your index and those files will disappear. You do, however, pay the price of reindexing.

It's so simple that it is ridiculous. I permanently deleted a file which I downloaded myself and it still appears in my 'downloads' folder. When I try to delete it, the system tells me that it cannot delete the file because it cannot find it. But as I said, I had already deleted it a few minutes earlier.

Is there a way I can delete this file?

Thanks!
