I use Mozilla Thunderbird, very easy to set up in Win7. You can customise it with add-ons and themes to resemble Outlook.

DJ2680, hello. If you are a former Outlook (Express) user, then you should find Windows Live Mail familiar. As Justin says, it is the replacement for OE from XP and Windows Mail from Vista. Windows 7 does not come with an e-mail client, but Windows Live Mail is free.

If you are coming from a Linux environment, are a Firefox user, or a multi-platform person (Linux, Mac) you will probably prefer Thunderbird from the Mozilla Foundation. Or try them both and see which one you like better.

You can try Windows Live Mail. It is the replacement for Windows Mail and Outlook Express.

I need a new email program as Windows 7 does not come with Outlook Express and I do not have MS Office installed. Tried Incredimail but this has a nasty bug as it trys to open a nasty web site. I need to use my own email addresses other wise will have to change letterheads etc. I am in Australia and do not want AOL so your suggestions please?
