A disturbance during the laptop assembly process can result in unknown bad units being produced which may not be caught at unit final inspection point.

It doesn't seem to be a general problem with this model. But I did find a couple of instances on the net.
Hence the warranty question.
Looking at the specs, I think it should run around 45°C.

Bob is correct.
The laptop CPU is most probably going into Thermal Shut Down when loaded.
Here is a general description of the topic.
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/221745-29-sticky-core-core-temperature-guide
The cause of this could be many things including the Improper Mating / Assembly of the CPU and Heat Sink to Inadequate Fan Speed to Borderline Components and may be even due to Poor Design.
Also, the article contains links to various programs for measuring temperature.
If excessive temperature is found to be the cause of the OP's machine problem, then the laptop should be returned to the manufacturer for repair / replacement.
Regards,
Rick P.

Whoa . . . 85 celsius = 185 F. That IS hot. A lot of processors fry at 200F.

Are you overclocking?

How much RAM do you have?

What's the HDD temp?

How large is your page file?

85 *(degrees celsius). Laptop = Benq s32w Joybook, i done the manual reading, it had said nothing bout shutting down because of temperature.
Fan runs relative to temperature increase, laptop is around 1 year old.

It only shuts down, when i am playing games, converting large video files, watching some web browser videos...
It is beginning to be annoying.
do yous recommend me to get one of those heat pad, fan thingos, that run by usb power?
i just want to knwo if its, a problem i can fix,
currently i assume, its probably due to the c drive, being almost full.
Any ideas?

issue: laptop keeps shutting down,

i think it is a precaution for overheating, yet is it possible to disable this feature?
The laptop first auto locks itself, then after i sign in, and run my programs, it suddenly shuts down again. this happens when the core temperatures go over 85 degrees, like when i run alot of applications at once or play a game, its very annoying
can someone help?

i can add more information if required.
