I've tried several working XP discs with the same result. The laptop has both a CD drive and a DVD drive, both doing the same thing. It's like it doesnt want to display the blue screen text mode portion of the install.<br /> to make things even weirder, I throw a Server 2003 disc in and it works fine.<br /> I've already tried resetting bios to defaults, and sending display output to CRT. Has anyone come across a problem like this, and what difference is there in an XP disc and a Server 2003 disc that would make one work and not the other? </p>
