That makes perfect since to me. Microsoft has said all along that it's a beta release that you should only use for testing. A clean install is the best way to test things like this.

@whs,
Vista SP2 should contain all of SP1 so my guess is that SP2 would be Slipstreamed into Original Vista without messing around with SP1.
SP2 will be released soon so you Vista folks will be getting a lot of questions.
The article caused me to think about the time line.
Not sure it that squirrelly Boot Manager Program will change the way Slipstreams are made?
Just musing. (LOL) (LOL)
Best Regards,

Regarding SP2, Could you not just make a vanilla Vista slipstream and then just wait for all the updates, including SP1 and SP2?

@whs,
MS wants everyone to do a Clean Install of RC1 which is the correct way to load any system.
The rest of the article is a confusing mess which will be caused by MS.
----------------------
Another issue:
Anyone thought of how to make a Slipstream Installation DVD of Vista SP2 when it's released ????
Where are all these parents that need to be teaching their kids how computers work ???? Personal Computers have around since the 1970s. Us ole Grand Dads are getting tired. (LOL) LOL)
Best Regards,

When I installed W7 Beta, it was a clean new install. If I read this right, they don't seem to offer that option with the RC - or am I missing something.
