I can't run services.msc from the run box. When I do, I get a MMC error message telling me it doesn't exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a later version of MMC. I have tried to reload MMC with the latest from the MS site, but when I try to install, it tells me I have a later version already installed. This problem is interfering with running some executibles that I have downloaded. When I try to run the exe, I get the hour glass for a couple of seconds and then either the error message above or nothing, the process seems to shut down.
