Hi spada05, I would get in contact with iTunes support directly and mail them your problem. If you have successfully changed your password and still can´t download a file then there is probably a fault on their side somewhere. Matt

This isn't really specifically for OS X, but that's what I'm running on in this case. Apparently at some point in the past few months, I incorrectly put in my password too many times. That, or someone tried getting in but didn't know the password. Regardless, iTunes disabled my account for my own protection. Their steps to enabling it again are quite simple, they say that I need only to reset my password. I've done that several times and in several different ways. My password is undoubtedly reset and changed. However, when I attempt to buy a CD, it still gives me the message that my account has been disabled for my protection. If anyone has a quick fix for this nuisance I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks again for your help.

I'd already found this article; I had been making the mistake of not making the Disk Image Volume large enough to copy over the files.

I've sorted this, but now when I try to change the file boot.wim to install.wim, it says I do not have the correct file privileges, despite me having read/write status on the disk image. I've double checked this in the disk utility.

The same happens when I just copy the files over to my desktop and try editing them. Is this a security setting on the actual files?

Hi, I am having problems with my new Dell, which one of the moderators is kindly helping me through on this thread:

http://www.howtogeek.com/forum/topic/bootmgr-missing-cant-repair-dell-inspiron-1750?replies=1#post-112859

I need to change the file names on an ISO image to get any further and I am using a MacBookPro running Leopard.

I can burn the CD-RW but only with the incorrect file names. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Hi. I like to add a Mac OS X disk to my current set up which is composed of Win XP/Win7-32 bit, Win7-64 bit and data disks (three disks). Because the VistaBootPro 3.3 does not recognize Mac drive, I want to switch to easyBCD. However, I am not sure what will happen when I un-install the VistaBootPro and install the easyBCD. Has anyone tried the similar method? What will happen if I just install easyBCD (before removing the VistaBootPro)?

Thank you!

Hi smart geeks, I have a question I was hoping you could help me with. I am running windows 7 on a mac via bootcamp. I am trying to access my office 2007 files (.xlsx, .pptx) from my bootcamp partition in the windows users/.../documents directory. When I open up the office 2007 documents in Office 2008 for the mac it only brings up the files in read only mode. Is this due to windows 7 security / ownership settings? If so how do I shut them off so the Mac can gain access to all my document files on the bootcamp partition.

Thanks for any help or insight

My IT person told me today that if you install windows XP on a Mac via VMware that reinstalling/reformatting the windows XP OS from time to time takes only a few minutes. If that is true it would seem to be a great advantage and the best of both worlds.

Any thoughts?
