However there was actually a specific Line - Column choice from the previous versions of Excel 97-03 which you could quickly select and apply. I have looked through all the chart types and that particular chart type (line-column) does not appear to be a choice anymore in the 07 version. I have found a long and time consuming way to set it up, and have tried to save it as a Chart Template to save time. However the chart template does not re-capture all changes that I make as the User Defined would from the previous versions.
