Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Ported to the Kindle Fire
Industrious Android enthusiasts have begun the process of porting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the Kindle Fire; check out this video to see it in action.
When Amazon announced a $200 Android tablet running a customized version of the Android OS, everyone knew it was only a matter of time before people started modding it. Currently the port isn’t fully functional (Wi-Fi and audio support are missing, for example) but, as the video above showcases, the Kindle is more than capable of running Ice Cream Sandwich.

It’s an android device, it’s cheap, it has dual core. No big surprise that it can run ICS or that people would port it to the tablet.
So, what?
What is “Ice Cream Sandwich”?
Why would I want it on my Kindle Fire?
HOW is the port accomplished?
My Kindle Fire runs faster than my IPad why worry about an updated OS.
