Exploding Mixed Drinks in Ultra Slow-Motion [Video]
What do you get when you mix fire, hammers, cocktails, and a video camera capable of recording over 5,000 frames per second? This hypnotic video of martini-fueled mayhem.
We’re admitted suckers for slow motion of all stripes. This video, recorded with one of Vision Research’s Phantom Cameras, captures splashing, smashing, and burning cocktails at 5000-8900 frames per second–by contrast standard video is a mere 30 frames per second.

Great video… Awful music
Same here. Couldn’t watch it with that f***ing sound (refuse to call it music).
I am glad to see that I am not the only one who stopped trying to watch this because of the horrible sound track. Way too many videos posted on the internet are ruined this way.
Beastie Boys are excellent. Could have been a lot worse.
Why? I mean seriously, why ?
I actually liked that music. Great video!
Had to mute the sound; terrible. The video part was interesting but…why bother?
Why would anyone put this kind of music in this video? It is awful
