do not agree, windows is awesome and doesn’t annoy me at all. I just hope that they made it less bloatware and made ALL the extras optional… i mean like the paint, snipping too etc. I just don’t want them and use them.
I’d assume this is service pack three for vista correct?
Or, we can take this metaphorically and you’ll notice that the pattern of things getting broken hasn’t changed since the old days when service packs could potentially get into minor disagreements with your drivers and/or software and then go batshit and blue screen everything.
Well, I exaggerate quite a bit there but funny image nonetheless. In direct comparison to ubuntu, you could say that you start with a swiss army knife and each “service pack” or dist-upgrade continuously removes one tool from the knife, or more.
@DF Based on the logo, this is an image for XP’s SP3.
They wrongly described the hammer, the hammer can do something :D
Slow ‘n effective, but I prefer taking the intransigent CPU out back and like an ailing old beast of burden,
a few .40Cal hollow-points right into the HD brought me just as much relief to a few old computers and put them out of their terminal metastasized misery :-)
Don’t think I have taken any 12-step SP recovery programs to manage the stress of those few KB/SP’s that wouldn’t install even if they were teleported into the right place.
My (many) computers over 3-decades seldom hit the Redmond retirement home.

@Road Dog777 – I dare say your method would be highly effective ha ha!! ^_^
At least Microsoft has the good taste not to charge users 29 bucks for a Service Pack like Apple does on OSX.
That’s because Apple sucks Big Fat Monkey Balls. Apple can’t really do anything right.
There are many times I could have used a tool this but had to improvise with a baseball bat –
If only we always had the PROPER tools for the job….
Microsoft also holds somewhere around 85% of the market so I can see why Apple would have crappy taste. Do you?
Somehow I think this would be much more effective on a Mac. ^_^
Seriously, Windows is awesome. *shields computer from hammer*
Linux FTW
Microsoft has always been great to me; never a problem there All the way back to win95, I can count blue screens and “Oh shits” on two hands. But I an a tech.
That hammer isn’t big enough.
I’ve got a 12 lb. sledge and I know how to use it.
Attn: Road Dog777, I agree with the .40 caliber hollow point approach. Simple to use, a loud satisfying noise plus immediate results but the personal application of brute force appeals to me. And you don’t have to reload a sledgehammer.
I don’t think this is funny or cute. Windows rules the computer world.
Hahahaha the image shoud be “Service pack 3 is here! Download from http://www.ubuntu.com” LOL!!
I’ve used a Hatchet before on my old Windows XP but never a hammer…
Does it come free, or do you have to pay for it?
