Mobile Gaming by the Numbers [Infographic]
Billions of dollars a year are spent on mobile gaming; check out this infographic to see where the billions go, the rising trend of freemium games, and the who the most active mobile gamers are.
Some of the figures in the chart are fairly predictable, such as the increase revenue pulled in by in-game upgrades and purchases (it’s so easy to spend $0.99 more to get that edge). Others surprised us; only 84% of tablet owners play games? We thought the whole purpose of the tablet movement was to disguise how much people wanted to goof off with a touch screen computer?

Jason Fitzpatrick is warranty-voiding DIYer and all around geek. When he's not documenting mods and hacks he's doing his best to make sure a generation of college students graduate knowing they should put their pants on one leg at a time and go on to greatness, just like Bruce Dickinson. You can follow him on Google+ if you'd like.
