I wish Apples could replace Tux in this wallpaper :D
nice but quality differs when made bigger
Where’s Tux?!
Stijn is right. That’s no Tux. That’s the penguin from the iOS game Air Penguin. :/ Too bad the deviant that made this didn’t use the right mascot… It’s a cool concept though. Plus, Windows shouldn’t have any walls. It’s pretty insecure by default. :P
Windows is actually the most secure OS, according to Symantec.
@ datdamonfoo: you’re joking, right? of course it is according to them! the customer is king, right?
Not joking. If you think about it, it would make more sense for them to say Windows is the least secure, that way they would gain more customers.
Ehm, no. Windows is the only OS they even NEED to, and can (according to them) secure… I”s a chicken & egg story. ;)
Well all I know is it looks like a “Tux” has been launched but has either vanished or fallen shot of the mark. Take that as you will.
Also why would you even need Bloated Symantic anyway since its only reason for existance is to slow down your computer under the guise of making it safe. Can you tell I cant stand them or their product?
ooops that was supposed to be short, Sorry just got home from work and need a beer.
I wasn’t trying to start a flame war with the Windows being insecure by default. I was just referring to Windows being the only OS that NEEDS antivirus. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Most people on this planet use Windows, so it’s heavily attacked for one reason..
This isn’t true, of course. Look up the latest OSX malware that has wrecked havoc, thwarting Apple’s weak attempts of security with simple name changes. This would not happen on Windows.
Look up Mac Defender.
All tthe OS has virus, only the stupid fanboys can’t understand that!!…prfff..
Yeah, chillax dudes ;-) Simox is right, you can technically get a virus on any OS (though admittedly I have never gotten a virus on my puppy machine). The only difference is the likelihood of getting one: windows has always gotten the most be default of being the biggest target, Now that Mac has a decent share of the market ppl are starting to write viruses for them, and lastly Linux boxes CAN get viruses (technically). Its just that the chance of actually getting one is ridiculously smaller due the the vast variety of distros out there :D
*fires bird and frees Windows* :P
