Google Boots Game Emulators from Market; Find Them at SlideMe
After years of not caring, Google yanked all the console emulators from the Android Market. Never fear, however, you can find them many of them (for free even!) at the off-market Android store SlideMe.
Yongzh, the guy behind some of the most popular Android emulators around–including Nesoid, SNesoid, and GameBoid–dusted himself off after being booted from the Android Market and put his emulators up on SlideMe.
For the next week or so he’s offering them as free downloads to ensure past customers can grab a copy without being double billed. After this generous free period they’ll return to their previous prices ($2-3 historically).
Hit up the link below to grab a copy and, when they return to their regular pricing, consider purchasing them just to kick a few dollars towards a customer-friendly independent developer that helps you get your retro gaming fix.

heck yea i like free
This is one big reason Android is better than iOS, then “Untrusted Sources” button.
So did Nintendo send some lawyers round to Google because they are launching Virtual Console for the 3DS shortly?
So… how is he going to distribute future updates?
This is really disappointing google.
Google, we believed Android was open-source. Not proprietary (like Apple). Sigh! This is one sad day.
They were pulled because the guy behind these emulators takes open source emulators that others have created and uses them to make money.
