Location Cache Clears Location Tracking from Android Phones

If the recent uproar about Apple’s aggressive iOS tracking logs has you a bit paranoid about what your Android device might be storing, Location Cache makes it simple to view and wipe the location database on your phone.

Once installed you can view the list of locations, view the locations on a map, export the locations if you want to further review the data, and of course delete the entire cache. Location Cache has an additional feature that allows you to use location for apps but no location data will be cached to the disk.

Location Cache works on Android 2.1+ and requires root access. Hit up the link below to read more and grab a copy.

well nice app…though personally i don’t really care if they track me…if they actually decide to look into my data they’d be awfully bored

@trinity343 It is a great app. Same way for my map too. Some serious boring reading on my map :)

I post my location on facebook all the time anyway. I want people to know where i am…

Where are the anti-virus programs for Android phones? Someone I know has been infected with a virus.

    Rootytooty,
It is so considerate of you to post your location at all tomes so that thieves can know just when to rob your place without the worry of your being home to interfere with their plans. And if they plan to rob you personally they will not have to waste any time trying to find you, will they. Good Luck with that.
Any young woman who does this should really reconsider just how vulnerable they are making themselves by posting their whereabouts for anyone to know.
