I felt a stream of electricity run down my spine when I read that…
I didn’t know we’re so close to the release of a breakthrough Linux OS !!

@Hatryst – I love your description of what you felt when you read that. ^_^ Yes, it is finally here and Thursday is going to be a big day for Ubuntu. ^_^ I can hardly wait…this is going to be as exciting as the official Firefox 4.0 release! ^_^

Will LinuxMint take the unity plunge? probably not. too bad Mintkde4 is crap, i might use ubuntu for a while just to be edgy.

AsianAngel, your sarcasm detector is off, re Hatryst’s comment. :D :D
Despite being a linux fanboy, even I’m disappointed by the lack of actual real updates in these six-monthly versions, apart from changing the side of close buttons and default chat clients and some pretty basic stuff. :(

I hate the Unity interface. Standard Gnome was a lot more powerful. After this release I’m moving all my Linux machines over to Debian. Anything with a GUI either will use Xfce or Gnome.

@Devon you can upgrade to natty just select your defalt desktop interface from unity to classic on the login screen menu
