Bolt-Action Supercharges Spud Gun Design
The standard spud gun design is that of a simple muzzle loader. This design include a bolt-action assembly that allows for rapid reloading and potato projectile deployment.
Jeremy Cook shares his designs for a bolt-action style spud gun. Rather than jam potatoes down into the muzzle, as you would with a traditional spud gun, his design uses a bolt-action assembly just like you’d find a bolt-action hunting rifle. Open the assembly, stuff the potato in, close and lock the bolt, and you’re in business.
