PyChess is a Fun Chess Game for Your Linux System

Do you love playing Chess and have a Linux system ready for more gaming goodness? Then you may want to look at PyChess. PyChess allows you to play versus the computer or go online to play against other people if desired.

For those who prefer to avoid using the command line to install PyChess, there are multiple file versions available for download (based on your particular system’s install file type).

If you prefer installing PyChess using the command line you can find the appropriate commands for your system on the main website’s downloads page.

Once you open PyChess you can start the game and play versus the computer or log in to the FCIS network to play online. Have fun!

Note: PyChess is available through the Ubuntu Software Center, but has not been updated to the 0.10 final release yet (currently listed as 0.10~beta3-2).
