8-bit Death: A Compilation Classic Arcade Game Fatalities [Video]

Your quarters have long been sunk in the machine, you’re mashing buttons at a furious pace, and then it happens: the 8-bit reaper comes for you. Check out this video remix of dozens upon dozens of classic video game arcade deaths to relive life in the arcade.

Over at Boing Boing they’ve put together a great reel of the death sequences from classic arcade games. Not only do you get to watch it in all the 8 and 16-bit glory but they paired it with an 8-bit style remix of the Gary Jules version of Madworld.     Come on, there are a lot more games than that. I was expecting an epic video here. Some weren’t even 8-bit.

    Mortal combat

    Double Dragon

    Theres a few i cant remember the names of :(

    Almost half these games are 16-bit.
