Access the Options for Your Favorite Extensions Easier in Firefox

Would you prefer a much quicker way to access the options for your favorite extensions in Firefox? Now you can skip opening the Add-ons Manager Tab and access them directly by menu using the Extension Options Menu add-on for Firefox.

There is a toolbar button available if you prefer an even quicker method for accessing the options for extensions. Left clicking on the toolbar button displays a menu as shown here and right clicking automatically opens the Add-ons Manager Tab.

The options are simple to work with…select or deselect display methods to best suit your needs.

Note: Works with Firefox 3.7a5pre – 4.0.*

@878 – If you are using the 3.6.x series then no, otherwise this works with even the latest nightly builds of 4.0.

i new to ff, whats nightly build?
and ff 4.0 is beta right? is it safe?

@878 – Nightly builds are versions of Firefox that are released on a daily basis and contain the latest changes and tweaks that developers are working on. Most of the time nightly builds work well but on occasion they can also be unstable, so it is a personal choice whether you want to try using them or not.

You can download nightly builds for Linux, Windows, and Mac here:

Firefox 4.0 beta 12 was just released this past week and has been nothing less than awesome on my Linux and Windows systems. ^_^ So yes, they are safe to download but keep in mind that there are quite a few extensions that may not be updated to work with it at this time. 4.0 displays quite a difference in comparison (looks and funtion) versus 3.6.x in my eyes and I definitely prefer 4.0. ^_^

You can download the betas here:

Here is my best suggestion for trying 4.0 out if you have any worries and do not want to disturb your current 3.6.x installation. PortableApps.com has a version that you can use to try 4.0 out for yourself and it is self-contained (no effect on regular Firefox installations). These portables are pure awesomeness. ^_^

    Hope this helps! ^_^
