Gmail's Priority Inbox Now Available for Mobile Web Browsers

Although Gmail for Android received Priority Inbox last year, the basic mobile version of Gmail lacked for it until yesterday. You can now see and interact with your Priority Inbox on any HTML5 compliant mobile browser.

If you’ve gotten used to managing your inbox with the Priority function that was rolled out last August you’ll be pleased to see that it’s now available on your mobile phone. To see Priority Inbox on your mobile device you first have to enable it when logged into Gmail using a desktop browser. Once enabled you can flag emails as important, unimportant, and jump to your Priority Inbox from HTML-5 compliant mobile browsers.

I cannot figure out why the priority in box exists, it does not do a damned thing.
