If you’ve got a little one around the house (or little ones that frequently visit) and you don’t want to move your PC tower to keep them away from the buttons, this clever hack kid proofs them–no moving necessary.
Over at IKEAHackers they’ve shared a clever little hack. Using the IKEA PATRULL refrigerator lock and the lid from a PUTRA food container, they’ve crafted an ingenious lock that clamps the lid over the power and reset buttons, keeping little fingers from mashing them in. When you need to use the buttons you just click the safety lock open and push them.
