If you frequently use your Android device as a music player you may have noticed how lack luster the song notifications are. If your media player of choice offers them at all, they are buried in the notification bar. Tune Pop changes that by putting new song notifications front and center.
When you’re walking around with your Android phone in your pocket and listening with headphones, getting song notifications might not be that big of a deal. If you use your Android device in your car as your primary music player, however, it’s annoying when you can’t easily see what song is playing. Tune Pop layers a highly visible notification box over the current view (such as the GPS map or phone interface) for a few seconds. You’ll never have to guess at which obscure song from the David Bowie discography you’re listening to again.
Tune Pop is a free download, upgrading to the Pro version ($0.99) unlocks additional features such as song-title-as-ticker in the notification bar and customization options for the on screen notification box.
