Are you looking for a way to directly clip notes from the web to your Google Docs account? Then you will definitely want to have a look at the Webclip extension for Google Chrome.
Once you have the extension installed, all that you need to do is select the desired text and click on the new toolbar button. The first time that you use the extension you will need to authorize access for it.
Once you start clipping notes to your Docs account there will be a new document created called webclip.
Note: You may or may not experience a temporary “hiccup” the first time you clip a note to your Docs account, so check the new document to see if everything transferred as desired.
Here is what the newly clipped note looked like in our Docs account. The article title, date clipped, and URL are automatically included in addition to the selected text. The auto-formatting adds a nice touch as well!
Note: The extension is not able clip images to your Docs account at this time.
