Google Updates YouTube for Android, Makes it Standalone
YouTube, Gmail, and Google Maps might have come bundled on your Android phone, but now Google has been separating them out and adding them to the Market so you’ll get quicker updates. And now YouTube has a new version.
The new version lets you watch videos in portrait mode, read comments while watching, and share videos on social networks. There’s a new home screen and just a generally better overall experience. You can get it from the Market if you’re on Android 2.2, or you can download it from the link below.
