I couldn’t agree more.
In what version of Word? In 2003 I agree, but not on current versions. If you can’t handle the ribbon you should get a new brain. Plus macros just rock big time.
Also, with a basic understanding of .NET you can interop with word and pull out some amazing stuff.
gcflearnfree.org until I took this free course I had no idea how to use my word. back then- last week- I would have agreed with you. I didn’t even know half of what word could easily do. I said easily do! gcflearn free is an eye opener to word 2007 sponsored by goodwill, now word doesnt schmuck out loud anymore!
