Who Needs a Web Framework? Build Your Web Site with DOS Batch Files!
You don’t need to build your next web site with Ruby on Rails, .NET, PHP, or any of those fancy web frameworks—instead, you can just pull out your command prompt and write yourself a batch file.
What are we talking about? Some programmer wrote a working web framework using DOS-based batch scripts that can actually serve up a web site, and it’s extendable like a regular web framework, so you could build a blog with it—not that you would want to. Hilarious! Head to the link to read the rest.
