White chocolate is derived from chocolate (it’s made with cocoa butter) but is not technically chocolate at all as it contains no cocoa solids. It contains only trace amounts of theobromine and caffeine, and none of the beneficial compounds such as thiamine, riboflavin, and phenylethylamine found in normal chocolate.
