Google Chrome to Finally Get Context Menu Support for Extensions
Google Chrome extensions have only had the ability to create buttons on the menu bar, and we’ve been waiting a long time for support that integrates with the context menu, or some other method that doesn’t waste space on the menu bar.
Now there’s a new API that lets extension developers interact with the context menu—and a few more new APIs coming up that will allow interaction with the location bar search and an info bar on the tabs. It’s great to see Chrome moving forward!
