Flash on Mobile Devices is Jerky, Slow, and Mostly Terrible

Laptop magazine did a thorough review of the new Flash Player 10.1 on a new Droid 2 phone, and came away less than impressed.

When I went to and tried to play a clip, I waited five minutes while the player said “loading.” During that time, it was nearly impossible to scroll around the page or tap objects on it.     Try Symbian s60 v3 or v5 mobiles. Even full flash sites works very good. And If you want Net-book in pocket then hands on to Nokia N900.

    I have a Droid ONE and my flash is buttery smooth? Find this a bit hard to believe.

    I used it on an evo, and I was amazed at how well it worked! Kongregate and Pornhub on mobile device!!!! Can’t wait to get ride of my iphone 3GS and get an EVO.
