American Express Finally Allows Longer Passwords
As an American Express cardholder, I use it for just about everything, but sadly their website has only allowed 8 character passwords—until now.
You can now update your passwords to be 20 characters including special characters, which really makes it a lot more secure. So head into your American Express panel and change your password!
Note that we’re not linking to American Express here, but to the blog post at UneasySilence that tipped us off to the change. You should always enter URLs to your financial sites manually in the location bar to make sure that you’re not getting sent to the wrong place.
Hey American Express Card Holders… Update Your Password (They can be 20 Characters Long Now!)
