Do you get annoyed by the downloads dialog box (shown below) that pops up every time you download a file when browsing in Firefox?

1

In Firefox go to Tools Options and under the General tab uncheck the box “Show the Downloads window when downloading a file”.

2

Click OK and your done.  No more annoying Downloads window popping up.  Alternately you can select “Close it when all downloads are finished” … but I just don’t need to see it at all so I eliminate it.
