Vista: Quick Tips To Customize Recycle Bin
Ah, the Recycle Bin … it always sits on the desktop waiting for your old files. Don’t ask me why but I think the Recycle Bin deserves more attention. I don’t know how many times I have helped end users recover files from the trash. Often used but misunderstood … Here I will demonstrate a few easy tips to customize the Recycle Bin in Vista.
Rename Recycle Bin – Right Click the desktop icon and select Rename from the menu. Now type in what you want to call the icon.
Resize Recycle Bin – Right Click an open area on the desktop and select View and choose Classic, Medium, Large.
Unfortunately this method will resize all the desktop icons. I have not discovered a way to resize only select icons … but I am looking!
