why is Link left handed on some pictures and right handed on the others?
@dima – There has been some switching back and forth on his “left versus right handedness” in the games. Weird that they have done that…
Link was originally Left handed. They switched it for Twilight Princess on the Wii since most people are right-handed. Its really too bad ’cause as a lefty I was looking forward to it.
In that last desktop pic with the sword, the triforce is off center. It’s a little disconcerting. Can it be fixed somehow I wonder?
I think he was left handed all the way up to Twilight Princess, but since most people are right handed, and the game used the Wiimote’s motion to control the sword, they made him right handed.
Yeah, the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess actually has a mirrored world to keep Link a lefty.
Actually, the gamecube version is the original non-mirrored version and is exactly how the developers imagined the game world to be and link is left handed.
For the wii version they had to make link right handed to match up with the wii controller and in turn they balanced the game out by mirroring the entire game.
actually link is ambidextrus, he is really just that good with a sword!! :P
as for the pic with the triforce of centre, i think it is meant to be like that but i too feel it looks wrong.
