But, that’s a good thing, right? The excuse is still plausible. Unless the homework was on a flash drive, in which case there is still a chance. But, come to think of it, these are nerds, so there probably actually was homework and this actually IS a tragedy–BUT, the homework probably was on a flash drive, so…go, Fido, go!
