I like to think of myself as a geek but just wish i was smarter…
Only people with macs or Linux or bsd are proper geeks. Widows is just ordinary. I would say that if you know how to even install bsd, nothing can stop you now from understanding computers completely.
I am not meaning as that people with windows don’t know stuff, as windows still requires mild understanding, but it is just to common, I like have macs and Linux, something that ain’t an everyday sight to slot of people. (in other words, it is nicer to have something different to everyone else)
Don’t mistake me, as that is not even a tiny bit of the reason why I use Mac and Linux. The main reason I use Mac is because my iMac is aluminum, I fell in love with OSX, wanted an all in one device with a built in 27″ full hd screen, and wanted a computer with a preinstalled os that I love, with most of the software that I need preinstalled.
Richard Harris, the actor who portrayed Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter movies, did so largely because his then 11 year old granddaughter was extremely upset that her grandfather would pass up the chance to be in a Harry Potter film.
