Do you perform a lot of calculations and mathematical functions on your PC? Tibi’s Mathematics Suite is a free package of useful mathematical applications that go beyond the Windows calculator and allow you to perform useful mathematical functions on your computer.
Tibi’s Mathematics Suite provides a scientific calculator, a graphing calculator, a matrix calculator, and allows you to perform factorization using what they call a Factorizator.
You can run each program in the suite separately using the corresponding .exe files (the scientific calculator is the calculator.exe file). However, you can easily access each application in the suite from a system tray icon menu by running the main suite application (TibisMathematicsSuite.exe).
Right-click on the Tibi’s Mathematics Suite system tray icon to access a menu that allows you to open each module in the suite, access the help, change the settings for the suite, and exit the suite.
Select Settings from the suite menu to access a dialog box that allows you to define global hotkeys for starting the different modules in the suite. Select a program, put the cursor in the Shortcut edit box, and type a shortcut to assign that shortcut to that program. Click Accept once you have finished assigning your global hotkeys.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you use more uncommon key combinations, otherwise there may be conflicts with the keyboard combinations for other applications. For example, you should never use the combination Ctrl + S, as many applications use it as the Save command. However, the combination Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S is a good one. Also, you should never use a single key as global hotkey, other than the media keys. For example, you should never use the key A as a global hotkey, because whenever you will have to type a word containing the letter ‘a’, an application will be launched.
The Scientific Calculator is a standard one providing most common scientific and mathematical functions. There is a second function (2ndf) button that provides access to the functions above the standard buttons.

The Graphing Calculator allows you to evaluate, plot, and integrate expressions (or functions). It includes many useful features, like combining multiple graphs, navigation and zoom controls, and saving plotted expressions.
NOTE: All numeric values are limited to 64-bit floating point numbers (approximate range: ±5.0 × 10-324 to ±1.7 × 10308, or 15-16 digits).
Another limitation is the precision of the graph; if the expression has many vertical asymptotes, it may not be plotted correctly.
The Graphing Calculator Settings dialog box allows you to configure the way the graphs are drawn. Select Preferences from the Application menu to access the settings.
The Graph precision slider allows you to adjust the quality and accuracy of the graph. A lower precision allows the graph to be drawn much faster, however it does not look as good and is not as accurate as when the precision is high.
The Grid numbers precision slider allows you to adjust how many decimals are shown in the graph. If the value is too high, they may overlap each other.
The Grid density slider allows you to adjust how many grid lines are drawn.
You can make the graph move and zoom slower or faster by adjusting the Navigation and Zoom sensitivity sliders.
The Matrix Calculator allows you to calculate mathematical matrices. In mathematics, a matrix is a rectangular array of numbers, symbols, or expressions. The individual items in a matrix are called its elements or entries.
NOTE: The calculator is limited to 64-bit floating point numbers (approximate range: ±5.0 × 10-324 to ±1.7 × 10308, or 15-16 digits). The size of a matrix is only limited by the system memory, but it is not a very good idea to use large matrices (e.g., bigger than 100×100), since they make the application slow and unresponsive.
The Matrix Calculator Preferences dialog box allows you to specify how many decimal places to show for the numbers in the matrices and whether you want to show the result as a 1×1 matrix. Access these settings by selecting Preferences from the File menu.
The Factorizator allows you to display the factorization of natural numbers. Factorization is defined as the decomposition of the number into prime factors, which, when multiplied, will yield the original number.
For more help with using each of the programs in the Mathematics Suite, select Help Viewer from the system tray icon menu and select a program from the Application drop-down list.
