This beautiful time-lapse video frames Australia’s newest radio telescope array against a backdrop of stars.
The telescopes seen here are part of the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) located at the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory in Western Australia. The video was produced by photographer Alex Cherney over five nights using three cameras and snapping 19,960 photos.

Jason Fitzpatrick is warranty-voiding DIYer and all around geek. When he's not documenting mods and hacks he's doing his best to make sure a generation of college students graduate knowing they should put their pants on one leg at a time and go on to greatness, just like Bruce Dickinson.
