Boy, ain’t that the truth… I tried everything under the sun to get a game functioning again this past weekend including reinstalling it to no avail.
Reboot… Problem solved.
they left out cleaning. something always needs wiped off or dusted even when working with software.
This is so funny because it is true! :)
haha tecn0tarded, agreed! I always end up cleaning my computer for some reason when I work on other problems. lol
Why does this say Comic?
I’m always depressed when “restart” resolves the issue…
… and I didn’t think to suggest it to the user.
Restarting is the first thing you should do in any situation.
Browser crash? Restart.
File won’t save? Restart.
Computer turned on? Restart.
It is so true for me too ^^’
Well, that said, I’m not doin IT support. But I’m quite knowledgeable about IT problems by now I’d say and STILL I tend to waste at least half an hour before thinking of rebooting.
I actually used to do internet support and that is the first thing I would ask; “When was the last time you restarted your computer?”
the British sitcom “The IT Crowd” had it right
“IT Department, have you tried turning it off and on” was the way they answered the phone each and every time
Dont forget “checks task manager”
All I can say is google “Jebs Jobs” episode 1 where he is “Technical Support”
So True I was cryin.
I’m laughing my head off….this is very funny because it’s true.
