SteamAlerts Notifies You of Game Price Drops
Feel like you always miss the best Steam gaming sales? Worry no more, SteamAlerts will send you an email when the price drops on your wish-list games.
Using SteamAlerts is simple, just search for a game, plug in your email, and plug in the price you’d like to be alerted off. So, for example, you could search for Borderlands 2 (currently $29.99) and set a price alert for $20.00. When the game drops below that price, you’ll receive an alert.
Even if you’re not currently looking to expand your wish list or set up any alerts, the front page of SteamAlerts gathers up new additions and recent price reductions in the Steam store–Borderlands: Game of the Year edition is current on deep-dish-sale for a scant $7.49.

I think Steam should be fixing their support (or rather the lack of) before adding new features that will break the platform like everything else they do!

By the way…Steam does email you when the games on your wish list are on sale.
Or add a game to your wishlist. I got an automated email telling me that one of the games in my wishlist was on sale.
Steam recently received an update to send you an email when an item on your wishlist is in a sale.
Thanks for featuring my work! Just one guy running this site because it was a “scratch an itch” thing for me. I use it myself all the time. While I do hope that Steam adds this feature and makes my site obsolete, the “alert on sale” isn’t quite enough. I, personally, don’t care if the latest game goes on sale from $60 to $49.99 — I’m waiting for it to hit $30 or less. This is where what I am doing is a bit better.
