What about Santa Clause or the Easter Bunny? I bet you’re also going to tell us that there’s no all-seeing all-knowing deity who made it all too. Right? ;-)

The earth is not flat but round, is that you say? Fine.
A round figure is a 2 dimension entity.
Therefore “earth not flat but round” means “earth is not flat but flat”… ;-)
To be accurate the earth is an unregular spheric entity.

The Earth *is* FLAT !
In 2 dimensions, the Earth is generally flat. How could you sail around the planet if it was not ?
BUT, the Earth is also curved – in a third physical dimension !
It takes a bit of imagination to see that the Earth is BOTH flat .and. curved at the same time.
Fun Fact: a doughnut (toroid) IS mathematically flat; an arbitrary triangle always has exactly 180 degrees !
It, too, is both curved and flat at the same time !
