I’m not 52, but my friends would make fun of me standing in line for any software, so I’d definitely be there alone. I would not wear a t-shirt and my hair is shorter, however. ;)
I do have a desire to get the Assassin’s Creed game set in Istanbul for some reason (I hear the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque settings in the game are pretty accurate) and maybe the one set in Rome – planning a trip there next year. Who says gaming is a waste of time? Anyone know where I can get a used copy of those games, cheap? I might be persuaded to part with original Starflight and X-Wing games in trade. Paper manuals included.
If you’re really nice, a set of Windows 3.1 floppies could become available too. I’m keeping the OS/2 Warp floppies – those could come in handy still. ;)

There were just as many girls as guys at the midnight release for Mists of Pandaria I went to.

Years ago I bought my then 8 YO son the new Nintendo 64 Pod Racer game for Christmas; sneaking it out, I played it a number of times and was extremely proud when I finally came in first in a race.
Gave it to my son, who was of course excited, and when he played it, for the very first time ever, he not only won his first race (and every one after) but he also set a course record for the game.
What really bugged me was the whole time his little fat fingers were literally flying over the controls he carried on a conversation with me about breakfast, about Christmas, about whatever.
I knew then that the digital age belonged to the young, and I had arrived much too late.
