That Physics of Coffee Rings [Video]

The rings left behind by coffee cups are distinctly uniform in their distribution–the stain is always around the edge. This video from the University of Pennsylvania’s Physics Department demonstrates why.

    Being an avid coffee snob for over 50 years, this is cool. Who woulda thunk it?


    And if you lay on your back drinking beer, snowflakes will go in you eyes, ears and nose. This results in an early death due to being deaf, dumb and blind.
