Even while you can keep using WinZip and WinRar after trial expires without buying a license, as many people does, I believe it is much better to use 7-Zip, which is open source and free, and will work the same way, with no “Buy me” pop-ups.
My company (huge, a general in automative) has WinZip full version. Dunno why. I did not use WinZip limited version on windows since years. I guess they are so full of FUD that they can’t install free software even if it bites them ;-)
For $29.95, I want … 6 full copies.
WinZip is not worth it.
Screw that get minecraft for that much
Spend 10 dollars more, Windows 8 is more worth it.
7zip is way better, i wouldn’t even catch myself buying THAT.
No drinks on the table . . .
I’m still using the last free legal version of “Alzip” (don’t rat me out to Alzip, please) – I may be the last living Alzipper…lol
Who the hell needs WinZip if there’s a free and open-source 7-zip?
what ? what is winzip ?
