How can you resist that ‘sad puppy eyes’ look?

Not abusing it enough…
Awww cheer up you are the default browser…(when I first install windows)
Ahh, the good old IE bashing. Not funny since IE9.
Oh it’s still funny.
According to the commercials, IE9′s supposed to be “the fastest” (was at launch – not anymore), secure (except during October 2012), and the leading browser in HTML5 (also true at launch. Quickly passed up by the fast release cycles of Chrome and Firefox. Even Opera and Safari have passed it by.)
IE10 is a completely different annoyance for developers. (as is true with every version of IE)
But that’s controversial.
Funny , nonetheless.
It’s a trap!
I use both Google Chrome & IE9. Some things are better in 1 than the other. Works for me.
haha, so cuteXD
@orejano – Ha ha ha…classic! ^_^
How can I resist IE? That’s easy. PRICE!
IE is part of Windows and Windows has historically been outrageously priced for years. Microsoft only made IE available when they realized there might be a buck to be made from the Internet and the World Wide Web (which we, as taxpayers helped develop, btw). But that move somehow tied IE to Windows which can never be undone. Or so says Microsoft who’s had a history of bold face lies! Even now, and despite previous promises involving court orders even, there’s no way to completely get rid of IE. It’s almost impossible to get rid of other related junk like that weirdo .NET stuff or even Windows Media Player. In fact, a strong case could be made pointing out how IE was instrumental in one of Microsoft’s more famous business tactics which forced other companies out of business and put a lot of people out of work.
But if that isn’t bad enough, I then see the benevolence of Microsoft’s founder “Mister Bill” trying to look like a good guy and give away the billions he made from his over priced wares and strong arming. Don’t get me wrong! I think helping eradicate disease and improve third world public infrastructure is a good thing. But even Mister Bill has said that he can’t quite give it away fast enough.
And now that Mister Bill’s own countrymen are suffering, where is he? About all I can see is a break on Windows 8 pricing, but only for a “limited time.” I see special priced products for educators/students which is still a rip off. I see college grants rarely given to any deserving Americans. And then I see XBox! Where do I even start about XBox?
But then I see Microsoft’s complete lack of any involvement helping develop affordable nationwide high speed Internet service. Not even affordable telephone service nor even a cheap VoIP service. You’d think that Microsoft would wake up when even evil old Google seems to recognize what good P.R. is. But does Microsoft?
Give me a break!
I won’t even go into IE’s unavailability for other platforms or it’s history of being insecure. I simply dislike any developer who can’t seem to grasp the meaning of the word, honor. And gouging the customers can only be described as dishonorable. About the only good thing I can say is at least we’re not talking about Comcast, AT&T, Verizon or Apple!
So whenever I see those IE puppy dog eyes or any other Microsoft product I just want to grab my shotgun or at least find a very big shoe.
If you multiply 1089 by 9, the result is an inversion of the original number: 9801.
