If you’re looking for a super simple way to share files with friends and coworkers Jumpshare offers drag and drop file transfer with a powerful built in file viewer.
You don’t need to register, install any software, or do anything but drag the file, drop it onto the Jumpshare interface, and share the link with your friend. Share the link and your friend can watch the real-time progress of the file upload as well as download or view the completed files within the Jumpshare file viewer. Files are hosted for two weeks before deletion.

….just drag the file, drop it onto the Jumpshare interface, and…cross your fingers that it doesn’t end up into the wrong hands.
@r Agreed, where is this mysterious file share and how sure are we that it isn’t just some dump area that has no security??? Pass!
you can use truecrypt with strong password or file and do the initial file-share this way and send in the password via different means. problem solved.
Or you can avoid using it completely and find one of many other solutions, problem solved.
Hello,
Security is something we take very seriously. Jumpshare is hosted on Amazon AWS and uses Amazon S3 for data storage. Everything is encrypted on the AES standard to prevent unauthorized access. To learn more, you can read our FAQs.
Let me know if you have any questions. You can also contact me directly at ghaus@jumpshare.com.

OR you can just send a document that doesn’t contain sensitive information in it.
But then again, why not just email that party invite?

“Security is something we take very seriously…you can read our FAQs” Where have I heard that before? There’ll always be software glitches and bugs to bypass even AES keys. The algorithms are not the main problem.
Awesome it’s like the Imgur of everything!
Just don’t be stupid and post personal info and you’re golden.
I’m sure it has some kind of security, but I’d rather be safe than sorry and really it’s pretty awesome as is.
Why use this over Dropbox? I can share _any_ file with DB and store it for as long as I need…
Sounds like a great method for quick painless sharing. I hate registrations, and files I share only need to be available for a short time.
whoa ! … to all those who are saying “what about security ?” – errr … isn’t it obvious that it’s *not* secure as there are *no* user accounts yet ? – why wud you use it for private files ?
– nice tool btw
Why would you spell “would” “wud”?
