DIY Camera Carrier Turns any Bag into a Camera Bag
The biggest problem with camera bags is that they look like camera bags and thus become a perfect target for thieves. This DIY camera carrier lets you slip a lens and camera holder into any bag to help conceal and protect your gear.
The project comes to us courtesy of Joy, a designer and crafter, and her adventures in making a DIY camera carrier to help protect her camera while carrying it discretely in her purse. You’ll need some basic sewing skills and access to a sewing machine; to follow along check out the link below and adjust the dimensions of her design to fit your bag.

…more than a bit on the feminine side for me
it just wouldn’t go well with my faded jean jacket & old Rolling Stones T-shirt
Ya, can’t see any camera gear in that bag. Nobody will notice that, very inconspicuous.
I’d rather put a sling on the camera-bag, and lock it with a number-lock.
@ Lu
I believe it’s intended as an insert. Put it in your rucksack as a divider for your camera equipment.
I don’t think I’d want the handles.
It’s a fashion violation!
So, I have to carry around this bag inside another bigger bag? No thanks
