No rig of mine has ever gotten THAT dirty! Not even the 2nd-hand ones that were given to me or this one I found on the curb.

I’d bet that my stepmother’s computer looks like this. She REFUSES to let me work on/clean it. Takes 5 minutes to boot too…………
Have lots of those at my work on the production floor. We used to do preventative maintenance and clean them once a year. After a downsizing, we did not have time to do it. We tried to get a temp employee to come in for a month or so in the summer to do it but it was to costly. Management decided it was cheaper to replace computers that burn up.
Take it outside and hit it with a left blower making sure the case won’t blow over of course and take apart the power supply and use some compressed air, etc. If it still worked afterwards, I would keep it as a point of pride.
I bet these type of people get there oil changed in their cars when they buy a new one. Just drive it till it dies. Not gonna get to the mythical 100K miles out of their car, or have heir computer until the next gen OS arrives.
PS my Ford F150 has 232K miles on It, And my XP machine out runs Vista machines.
