Those Who Hold the Passwords Hold all the Power [Humorous Image]

These parents took a page from the book of Vader and found new ways to motivate the ‘troops’ when displeased with the lack of progress on chores!

For those who may not get the ‘joke’, here is a clip of the scene referred to above…

    I don’t see what the movie clip has to do with the sign. Darth Vader never once mentioned anything about today’s wifi password.

  2. Danny

    Well, I still don’t see how this note has anything to do with the star wars scene.

  3. Dorothy

    I don’t get it, either.

    The joke has to do with two parts from the clip:

    1.) Finding new ways to motivate a ‘group’ (in this case their kids) in a way that is going to get their attention (no internet). Vader’s ways/methods would have been darker, but in both cases each group had an extra incentive to get the work done.

    2.) Displeased with the lack of progress alludes to the eminent arrival of the Emperor and Vader’s sharing of the news that the Emperor is displeased with the current progress on the second Death Star (just like the parents are displeased with the kids’ lack of progress on getting their chores done).

    At any rate this clip came to mind when I found the image and I decided to add it in… >_>

    that ‘g’ in dog. I could never write it like that. :/

    The video is more in reference to the editor’s comment, not the image itself. :-)

    Yeah Osman, that ‘g’ looks like a little Pac-Man under a Zero…. Where’s Blinky?

    Those are fantastic wifi passwords except ….
    * they need a little random data to up the security
    * should not be 100% normal language

    The are
    * Easy to remember,
    * Easy to type,
    * Long enough to cause cracker issues, and have numbers, letters, punctuations and spaces.

    “2. vacuum downstairs” can be improved with
    “2. vacuum downstairs today, Bobby zx”

    I really want to watch star wars now!
